Online Paint Party – a Fun Way to Pass the Time

Have you ever been to an online paint party? If you haven’t, then you should go and try one. I don’t know why you haven’t been-how could it be so hard? Well, for starters, you can’t really judge a party by its appearance. But on the other hand, when you do attend one, you’ll be able to tell at a glance that the host/hostess has some pretty good taste.

There’s something very special about an online paint party. For one thing, it is very convenient. No more driving to a party store in your neighborhood, finding a parking spot and fighting through the insane crowd that never seems to end (unless there are kids). Thanks to the Internet, the whole world is your backyard. You’ll have access to a huge selection of paints, airbrushing tools and assorted accessories that you’ll be able to make your own creations with.

On top of that, though, you’ll be saving a TON of money. Did you know that most paint stores (especially online ones) charge you an arm and a leg for each color they sell? Not only that, but they force you to buy things like paper and plastic and even sometimes food for the party. With an online paint party, you’ll be bringing along a small paint kit and you won’t have to pay those ridiculous prices. Best of all, though, you’ll be saving yourself tons of time and money while you’re at it.

That’s because you’ll be able to simply use one of those paint kits to create a massive and life-sized mural on your kids’ walls-all for under $30! The best part is that you’ll only need to buy one kit (at most) and you’ll be set! You won’t have to spend another minute in the bathroom painting, because your kids will be going wild over their awesome new artwork.

To make things even better, you can also add balloons, streamers and confetti to any mural you choose. You can have them decorate the walls at the store or you can let them come up with the designs themselves. Either way, the kids are sure to love it! In addition to being a fun activity, it also helps them bond with each other and create memories with their art. And at the end of the day, they’ll have created something that they can be proud of!

Since most kids’ bedrooms tend to look quite messy (especially when there are kids from eight years old and upward), having a paint party can help you get the house organized and make the rooms more appealing to the eye. You’ll want to start by setting out the supplies. Typically, you’ll want to include paints, brushes, rollers, airbrushes, and paper for tracing. Depending on how many kids you’re inviting, you’ll want to have different supplies for each age category. You can pick out paint colors and supplies for the little boy’s room, girls’ room, and even the kitchen if you’d like!

Now that you’ve got all the right supplies, it’s time for the paint party! To keep it fun, encourage the kids to come up with their own designs or to join in and share their artwork. For example, if your child is drawing a scene from a story, why not match their drawing up to the color scheme of their favorite book or movie? Or, if your child is painting a portrait of their pet, why not use some of the accessories your child already has? There are endless possibilities! It’ll be a lot of fun for everyone.

Don’t forget to bring your camera! You’ll need it to take pictures of the finished mural. Bring some coloring books to pass out, and you’ll definitely want to snap some photos of your kids enjoying themselves. Once they’ve had a chance to play and demonstrate their new artwork, you’ll want to gather up all of their art supplies and give them a little presentation. Make sure they listen and take notes so that they’ll be ready next year when you host another online paint party.
